Place Recruitment launched in 2011 amidst a tough market and needed to differentiate their new business from more established players.

Owner Claire Barber describes her offering as ‘corporate, with an edge’, and her clients as people who would like to work for a quirky technology startup, but for lifestyle reasons, they plump for the safety of a bank – she tries to find the best of both worlds.
