Event branding for the 2019 Keith Murdoch Oration at State Library Victoria

Last year we worked with the amazing team at State Library Victoria, designing event collateral for the 2019 Keith Murdoch Oration.

Held every other year since 2001, the event raises funds to support the Library’s work, and to reflect its commitment to promoting debate within the community about knowledge and culture. The Chief Executive of News Corporation, Robert Thomson delivered the Oration on “Truth, trust and tech”.

The design was inspired by a single image : a stack of newspapers that look almost paint-like, with the colour palette referencing the historic red and black of newsprint.

This isn’t the first time we’ve worked on this event—take a look at the print collateral we designed for the 2016 Oration.
