Blue Ink is the sister agency of Blue Chip Communication, a Public Relations agency specialising in the financial sector. In contrast to its more established sibling, Blue Ink focuses predominantly in the Business to Consumer sector.
The brief requested we bring an element of body art into the brand identity – the word ‘ink’ referring both to the indelible nature of ink (especially relevant to the world of social media), and also associated with tattooing as an expression of identity.
A secret solution
We investigated a number of ways of incorporating the ‘ink’ metaphor. The design chosen hides the name of the client within the ‘b’ shape – a secret element that only a few see immediately.
