Since 2011, Brand by Name has completed more than 1,000 projects for over 50 clients, both locally and internationally. Amongst them have been industry leaders including Grey Goose Vodka, State Library Victoria, Yarra Trams, Cleanaway, Outward Bound and Moet Hennessy.
Working with charities
It is our pleasure to support worthy causes by offering our skills to charities and not for profit (NFP) organisations for reduced rates. Many NFPs struggle to allocate budget on design and branding, and the consistency of branding can suffer as a result. It’s a natural fit for us to provide practical help.

Meet Fiona Brand, founder and owner of Brand By Name.
Fiona is an award winning graphic designer with more than 30 years of experience. After decades working as an in-house graphic designer with leading agencies in both Australia and Ireland, Fiona launched Brand By Name to give businesses the chance to work more closely with creative designers.
“I believe it’s essential for the designer to work closely with the client to fully question the brief and the dig deep about the desired outcomes of the project. That’s why I work closely with my clients to get a detailed understanding of both the project at hand and their broader business and marketing objectives.”
Fiona, is your name really Fiona Brand? Did you change it to suit your business name?
“Yes, my real name is Fiona Brand and no, I did not change it to suit my business name!
Interesting fact: my great-grandfather shortened the name from Hildebrand to Brand on migration to Australia. Back then, it was common for migrants to shorten their names, so Brand we became and Brand we remain.”
